Educational Research in Pakistan: Opportunities and Challenges

Over the last half century the standard of education and research in Pakistan has seen a great decline. However, the culture of research in education and in other disciplines is slowly being enhanced through efforts both by government through HEC and by the private sector. The theme of this first conference by PARE reflects the efforts made in this direction.

We invited papers on all kinds of educational research within a range of perspectives on the following sub-themes, addressing both methodological and substantive issues.

4. Building research communities
5. Impact of education research on institutional practice
